The list goes on! Here are some additional ways people enjoy their favorite anime openings
- The opening of “Attack on Titan” “Guren no Yumiya” was used for a carousel at the Sea World park in Abu Dhabi.
- Attack on Titan is the most popular anime series, and it’s entrance song has been used by many different people to make their own video. For example, one group remixed the song with footage from Star Wars: Revenge of Sith so that when Obi Wan Kenobi says “I have walked this path before,” you see Eren Jaeger screaming as he gets eaten alive by titans.
- Opening themes are often remixes or reinterpretations of songs that were originally created years ago; but sometimes they’re just catchy tunes chosen because they sound a little different.
- “Fate/Zero” is an anime adaptation of the prequel novel to Fate/stay night, so it includes scenes from that story as well as new material not in the book. The opening theme song for this series was sung by Kalafina and creates parallels between the characters in both stories.
- Some people believe that some openings are just too good to be wasted on one episode or even one season; they want them playing all day long! One person edited footage from Shakugan no Shana’s (Shakusen) intro video with clips of other famous anime show intros created into a montage. Another combined shots of their kids making funny faces with popular Japanese animation openings.
- When all else fails, you can use your favorite anime opening song to help wake up in the morning or get motivated for a day at work! One person found that listening to the “Opening Theme” from Sword Art Online helped them fill out their expense reports with more accuracy and detail because it revved them up so much.
- Another popular destination is on video game streaming sites such as Twitch TV where people play games while watching anime openings live through an application like OBS Studio. There’s also some debate over whether Japanese culture has become too saturated by Western animation titles but many don’t agree about this theory since they love looking different than everyone else.
